Commercial Dough Mixer
If you were to ask any bakeshop or pastry store about the amount of bread they need to produce in a day,
you will probably ask yourself where all those breads go. Just imagining using kilos after kilos of flour to make a
different kind of bread every hour makes you sweat from all the hard work. Now, what more if the dough should be
kneaded manually by the bakers? No matter how much they love baking, they would pretty sure feel like their arms
are being tortured. However, thanks to a commercial dough mixer, baking breads by the bulk need not be tedious.
A commercial dough mixer pretty much functions like that of a regular dough mixer. However, most commercial
dough mixers especially those from bakeries and patisseries are so huge you could actually fit a human inside. The
motor is so powerful that it could knead through a whole day’s supply of dough base for various types of breads in
just a snap. Because of this, bakers spend lesser time having to knead and work through the dough carefully one by
one.
Since we are talking about a commercial dough mixer, you have to realize that the word commercial means that use
should be limited to business functions. It is not because you cannot use it at home per se, but the size, power
consumption and price tag are just not that home friendly.
As stated, a commercial dough mixer could be so huge that it could actually fit a person and because of this
size, power consumption is about ten times more than a home dough mixer. The real drawback, however, is the price.
One dough mixer that is meant for commercial purpose would probably cost you over $2,000, something you really do
not need to have at home. However, if you are starting a bakery or a bread business, by all means, this type of
dough mixer will definitely make life a lot easier.
